Tremendous care went into the detailing of this hand-carved bowl. Thrown on the potters wheel and allowed to harden slightly. Then, painted with porcelain slip around the rim and hand carved to create the radial pattern that showcases the raw clay underneath.

The interior of this bowl is glazed matte white. The exterior (not shown) is unglazed to showcase the rich brick-red color of the raw clay.

This bowl is sold at a slight discount due to the pooling of glaze in the bottom, as shown. It does not affect the bowl's utility (nor its beauty, depending on your perspective).

Handwashing is recommended.
